The Pictorial Reparation of Faults

 

I found this book between the dusty shelves of a bibliopole. Each page gave a detailed account of a  painting from the Flemish Renaissance but the places  reserved for the paintings were empty. This faulty  printing excited me and piqued my curiosity. I began  working on a pictorial reparation of faults and gave the  book a new being.

Sahafın tozlu yığınlarından birinin arasında buldum bu kitabı. Her sayfada detaylı olarak flaman rönesansına ait bir resimden bahsediliyordu fakat resimlerin basılı olması gereken yer boştu. Hatalı baskı beni heyecanlandırdı ve meraklandırdı. Hatanın resimsel telafisine başlayıp, kitaba yeni bir varlık kazandırdım.
